Children's Church is a time of worship at a level of teaching and understanding suitable for their age and needs. It is for children ages 4 years through 3rd grade. It meets at 11:00 am on Sunday during the moring worship service. Student Ministry is directed with the purpose of promoting spirituality and reaching the young people of our community for Christ. This ministry, consisting of Middle and High School departments, meets each Sunday and Wednesday. There are many activities, including social, music, and drama, during each season of the year. Women's Missionary Union (WMU) is organized to promote home and foreign missions. Our WMU is very active in the community, ministering to the sick and homebound. They meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Family Life Center. Baptist Men help to promote missions work locally, statewide and in other parts of the world. Several of the men have been involved on mission trips outside the local area, including foreign countries. The Baptist men meet the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Church Annex. Royal Ambassadors is a group of 1-5 grade boys, are organized to learn about missions through studies and activities. The RA's meet each Wednesday night at 7:00 PM
Girls In Action is for girls, grades 1-5. They study mission and visit the homebound and hospitals in the community. They meet at 7:00 PM each Wednesday night. Senior Saints is a very active group that meets regularly for fellowship and outings. They take an annual trip to Caswell Baptist Assembly and many other trips during the year. |
